Bangor Broken Broomsticks (BUQC) was founded in April 2012 and fielded their first team in November that same season. The club has gone on to rise in the quadball community, gaining notoriety and popularity amongst social and competitive players alike.

Bangor have competed in many tournaments since their founding, with some notable ones being: Highlander, Whiteknights, British Quadball Cups 1, 2 & 3, and winning both the Northern Cup and Whiteknights III. Most recently, Bangor took the bronze medal at Development Cup 2020 in Manchester.

As well as various team members participating in fantasy tournaments across the country and having members travel abroad to play, we also  have several athletes within Team Wales.

Birmingham Badgers Quadball Club is a new community club starting up in the 2022/2023. We’re aiming to be a nice chill club with good vibes and low pressure. In terms of competitive aspirations, we welcome any and all levels of fitness, skill or experience (including people who haven’t played quadball before). 

Although we will be competing in the community leagues, we’re hoping to expand the club to include students from any local universities and are more than happy to accept interest from students.

Bristol Quadball Club is a joint society between the University of  Bristol and the University of West England, but any and all students,  graduates, and community members are welcome.

Cambridge Quadball Club is open for all interested in practising the sport in Cambridge. We are open to people of all genders and abilities,  students, graduates and community members. Cambridge have competed in  many tournaments in the UK. You can find us practising on Sundays, 2-4pm on Jesus Green.

Quadball is a mixed gender (and trans inclusive), fast paced, full contact sport.

We  practice regularly, go to tournaments and have a lot of fun at the  occasional social or joint activities with other quadball societies.  New players are always welcome, no previous experience is necessary!

Founded in September 2013,  the then Chester Chasers went on to make their first competitive  appearance at the inaugural British Quadball Cup, less than two months  later.

Since then the now rechristened Chester Centurions have  grown as a club. Qualifying for every iteration of the British Quadball Cup, winning three Cottonopolis Cups, and with players being scouted  and recruited for multiple Quadball Premier League teams. Chester  Centurions have also had members go on to play internationally for Team  UK and Team Ireland.

A welcoming and active quadball community in  the north west, we have worked to try and foster a sense of teamwork  and friendship. Forming a special relationship with Bangor Broken  Broomsticks, sending coaches out to Preston Poltergeists, as well as  hosting the Costume Cup on two separate occasions. The Chester  Centurions are a team of ranged ability, and aim to help everyone who  wants to find their place within the quadball community.

DUQC is Durham University’s official quadball club – we are open to  both university and community members. DUQC encompasses both it's first  team, Durhamstrang, and the currently inactive second team Durham  Direwolves. We practice on Saturdays and Sundays during university term  times.

The East Midlands Vipers are a community team founded in 2020, operating primarily out of Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

Quadball at the University of Exeter started in 2014 with a small group of enthusiastic friends, setting the tone for the club from then until the present day and beyond.


We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and friendly team, open to anyone of any sporting ability and experience, whether they would like to play competitively or socially.

We are the Glasgow Grim  Reapers, a small club with members from a wide range of backgrounds and  experience. Since our founding, our club has gone from strength to strength: Winning  the 2017 Development Cup in 2018, placing in the Top 4 at Northern Cup  2018, which followed by a strong top ten placing in the national British Quadball Cup in 2019.

 By far our biggest accolade was in qualifying for and competing at a  high level in the Division 1 competition of the European Quadball Cup  in 2019 in Belgium.

 We’re a welcoming club to members new and old, our focus is on improving  the skills of our members so that each person gets something out of  training, and building a strong club of friends.

The Holyrood Hippogriffs are one of the oldest  quadball clubs in the UK. Founded in 2011, we are a club based in Edinburgh, and compete across the UK and Europe.

We mostly comprise of students at Edinburgh's universities but anyone is welcome to join us. We train regularly on the Meadows in Edinburgh - get in touch by email or on social media if you want to join us!

Kelpies Quadball Club is a community quadball team based in the Central Belt of Scotland.

Training on The Meadows (Edinburgh) Thursdays at 18:00 - 19:30 and alternating Saturdays and Sundays 12:00 - 14:00.

Since 2011, we've been driven to create a society that puts people,  passion, and pride first. Each new season, we welcome students and  non-students alike to join us in building a committed, competitive, and  compassionate team, and make strides forward as a sporting society. Founded in 2014, Liverpool Quadball Club is a vibrant team who take  pride in being cautiously optimistic, scrappy, and players of Sexy  Quadball. They're always up for a trip to the local pub each week to  take the edge off training and, more often than not, to take refuge from  the elements. Happy to welcome anyone who's interested in playing a  fictional sport, you'll find more than just a sports team in the weird  and wonderful members of the Liverpuddly Cannons.

London Quadball Club (LQC) was founded in summer 2018 by various athletes and graduates who had  relocated to London and wanted to play with their friends in a  competitive but friendly environment.

Since then, the club has  gone from strength to strength, consistently medaling at the highest  levels of UK Quadball, most notably winning the 2019 British Quadball Cup in our inaugural season.

We train weekly in Clapham, with our club consisting of both an A and  B team, who compete across regional, national and international events  alike - including the European Quadball Cup.

The Unspeakables are  London’s first quadball team. Through our regular open sessions, we  have introduced many new players to the sport who missed out on the more  well-trodden university route; this makes us a true community team. We  pride ourselves both on our diversity and our spirit of competitiveness  while never losing our sense of humour. Our core of passionate, friendly  and dedicated regular members, supplemented by talented players from  far and wide, has allowed us to consistently improve over the past few  years and we were thrilled to finish as silver medalists at both  Southern Cup 2019 and EQT 2020.

We regularly field three teams. A bigger club enables us to continue  our traditions of developing new talent and helping players transition  from other sports. We can cater for players of all abilities. The London  Unspeakables attracts those with aspirations to compete at the highest levels of British and international quadball.

The London Unbreakables, our third team, were formed in 2017. The  team is suited for casual players, new players and those who want to  join for purely social reasons. The improvement they’ve shown throughout  the years has earned them a silver medal at Development Cup 2020.

Manchester Universities  Quadball Club (MUQC) was founded in 2014 and has competed across  regional and national events, with many of our graduates going on to  found Olympians Quadball Club.

Now playing under the team  Manchester Minotaurs monniker, MUQC has undergone a rebuilding phase in  the last season, recruiting new members and creating a fun and social quadball club which is open to all players and abilities

We are Olympians QC. We are a  community Quadball club that came into being in the early Summer of  2019, when a group of graduating and post-graduate quadball players  primarily from the University of Manchester decided to set up our own  community team in the North of England. We put out feelers and were soon  joined by a large contingency of graduate and postgraduate players from  Leeds, as well as many older players from around the North.

As a  new team set up by older players for older players, we reviewed the  condition of the sport in our local area (North of England); and we  noticed a decline in the number of players in local University teams. We  then decided to create and implement our club’s ethos: We love playing  Quadball and want to play against competitive teams. We can only  compete against competitive teams if there are teams to play against,  therefore we must do everything we can as a community team to help  maintain and grow our local Quadball community.

To do this we  offered our help and knowledge to aid with local clubs freshers fairs  and freshers sessions, as well as hosting and joining a number of joint  training sessions with other clubs where we shared advice and tactics if  requested. We also hosted the Odyssey Freshers tournament prior to  regionals in order to give the new intake at university teams a chance  to play competitively in a situation with less pressure attached to it.

Our  first outing as a team was at Northern 2019, where we managed to top  our group on day 1 and then finish second overall claiming our first  medal as a club. Qualifying for EQT we managed to finish 4th, claiming a  top seed at European Quadball Cup second division.

Unfortunately we weren’t able to put ourselves in the European  cauldron just yet, but we are very proud of our achievements so far and  hope to replicate them in the coming season!

Hello! We’re a community  quadball team based in Oxfordshire. We train bi-weekly in University  Parks, Oxford. We’re welcoming of any players of any athletic background  or ability, we have a great social side and play/train with many of the  other quadball clubs in Oxford and the surrounding area.

Oxford Universities Quadball Club (OUQC) is Oxford’s first quadball club and one of the  oldest quadball cubs in the world, open to students from across the  city and anywhere nearby.

 We are an official society as part of both the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University, training and competing in the sport of quadball in the UK. With regular training sessions, socials, and  competitive fixtures, we provide great opportunities to get involved in quadball at a university level, regardless of previous sporting  background or experience!

One of the first quadball clubs in Scotland, we maintain an excellent and competitive club whilst still keeping to our ethos of fun and inclusivity.

We’re open to  anyone of any playing ability or background, we play regularly at regional and national tournaments, including the British Quadball Cup -  and several members of our club have gone on to represent Team Scotland at international quadball events.

Sheffield Quadball Club was founded in 2015, and expanded quickly, growing to three teams at its peak. While we now have only one team, we are still going strong.  

We’re an open club, where players of any experience and ability can join. Our society is part of the University of Sheffield but we equally welcome players from Sheffield Hallam and non-students.

We frequently compete in both Northern Cup tournaments, and at a national level in the British Quadball Cup.  We also have a great relationship with nearby teams, occasionally training with other clubs such as York Horntails, Manchester Minotaurs and Leeds Griffins. 

Southampton Quadball Club  (SQC) is one of the UK’s oldest quadball clubs, and our members believe  that sport should be accessible to anyone no matter gender, sexuality  or athletic ability. We have throughout our time accepted many  individuals of different backgrounds and this diversity has allowed us  to stand out amongst our peers.

We’re a competitive club, having  claimed the position of champions in 2015 at the British Quadball Cup,  and consistently reaching semi-finals of national competition. In the  past we have proven that despite being a mixed team of community and  university players, we can compete to a high level and have regularly  competed on an international level at the European Quadball Cup.

SQC  is more than just our competitive standing, our dedication to our  players and community has meant that even years after having left  university, alumni of the club have continued to return to play with and  train the next generation of players without guarantee of playing at  the competitive level.

The team has continued to show a strong  resilience and flexibility in hard times and through the respect and  care of our players, we should continue to flourish long into the  future.

The Leicester Thestrals, or  the Leicester Lovegoods as we were back in 2012, pride ourselves on  being a part of the first ever official quadball match played in the  United Kingdom against Keele Squirrels.

Today, we are a club that  values supporting the next generation of quadball players, building a  high ranking university team and forming friendships within our club and  throughout the quadball community.

Velociraptors (VQC) is a community club based in the midlands and one of  the most successful UK teams in history. First formed as a place where  friends could continue to play together after university, VQC is a club intended for graduates but we welcome anyone to come along and see what  we’re about.

Warwick Quadball Club (WQC) is the University of Warwick’s quadball team, however we welcome student and community players alike. Our aim is to have fun whilst competing at a high level both nationally and internationally.

We are the Werewolves of London, and we’re not just your ordinary community quadball team in London. Since the club’s creation in 2015, we’ve established two successful competitive teams with a heap of talented athletes and gone on to finish on the podium at many QuadballUK official events.

Wessex Warlocks are a UK Quadball community club that is based primarily in the South West of England, with occasional trainings in London. Our club strives to be a competitive outfit in UK Quadball with a strong emphasis on player development. We aim to play an exciting brand of quadball with an identity of a proactive play style that all of our players enjoy.

As well as aiming to be the best quadball team that we can be competitively, we also work closely and collaborate with university clubs - particularly in the South West. This is to ensure that the next generation of quadball players develop and are able to enjoy the game we love in future.

The West Country Rebels are a brand new team for players in the South West, ready to rise up and take the fight to all the other community teams in the 2021/22 season. We aim to rejuvenate quadball in this part of the country, recruiting and training right across the region, be it Falmouth, Bristol, Bournemouth, Bath, Exeter or anywhere in between!

Founded in 2017, the Winchester Quadball Club is a University team, but one that welcomes both University and Community members of all experience and ability backgrounds.

We push to have an inclusive and relaxed atmosphere, offering the chance to compete in tournaments for those who want to, but also the chance to simply join our training sessions and socials for those who don’t.

We have a great partnership with the nearby Community Club, Southsea Quadball, which allows us to train with and compete against other great players and members of community, and our members get the best experience possible.

We have competed in various tournaments during our time as a club, including Southern Cup and even a championship run at Development Cup in 2019.

The York Horntails are one of the UK's longest standing teams - founded in 2012. We focus on creating a welcoming space where players of all levels can develop their quadball skills. We are based at the University of York as a YUSU society, however non-university members are welcome. We’re ranked 9th among Uni teams in the UK and are possibly the fastest growing team! We host regular training sessions, twice a week on 22 Acres during term time.
