The IQA and Quadball UK are excited to announce the 2027 IQA Quadball World Cup will be hosted at Barn Elms Sports Centre, in London, England on July 23 - 25, 2027.
Adding to London’s long history of prestigious sports competitions, national quadball teams from around the world will convene to represent their countries and fight at the highest level of the sport for the title of Quadball World Champion.
With incredible experiences and sights, London will provide a thrilling backdrop for the biggest quadball event of the year. Enjoy the sights, sounds, and thousands of features London has to offer. Incredible food, museums, theatre, and history on every corner.
London is also a gateway to other incredible countries, so be sure to travel and experience the rest of the United Kingdom, from the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland to the dramatic mountains and coastlines of Wales - or take the opportunity to travel directly into Europe and experience everything it has to offer.
The IQA and QUK will be looking to learn and build upon the lessons learned at previous events in order to deliver an event the community is proud of and excited to be a part of.
With this in mind, the IQA have appointed Matt Bateman, Director of QuadballUK, as the Tournament Director of the 2027 IQA Quadball World Cup. After delivering an incredible European Games in London in 2024, we are confident that with his experience and expertise this event will be memorable and enjoyable for all.
“This has been a long time coming, and a lot of work has gone in to ensure we are excited to deliver an incredible tournament for you all” said Matt Bateman, QuadballUK Director. “Our facility partners at Barn Elms Sports Centre are equally as excited and eager to help grow and push awareness of such a special sport that unapologetically brings the joy of community and competition to more people.”
Players, volunteers and spectators should note the World Cup will be played over three days. Further details will be released in the coming months.
