After a successful first tournament in Oxford last year, the second iteration of Development Cup took place on the 14 and 15th of April in at 22 Acres Playing Fields, York. 13 teams from across the UK competed and honed their skills with the Glasgow Grim Reapers who came out on top after a decisive victory over Bathilisks QC in the final. Throughout the tournament Glasgow performed exceptionally well, topping their Group in Day 1 and again winning all their games on Day 2 to become the first ever Scottish team to win a QuidditchUK tournament.

In the third place playoff another Scottish team the St Andrews Snidgets defeated Oxford Quidlings to take the bronze medal with a 100* – 40 victory, whilst Northern Lights were the winners of the Consolation Bracket defeating Preston Poltergeists 110* – 20 in the final.
